The position will oversee the basic structure, management, administration and quality assurance for RISE’s Residential Programs in Western Oregon.

Qualifications and Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in one or more of the following areas, social services, developmental disabilities, mental health, youth corrections, foster care and/or other related fields or equivalent education and two (2) years of supervisory experience in the field; or four (4) years of experience in the field and two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Must have at least two years of experience in coaching, training and employee development.
• Must have strong problem solving skills- the ability to create innovative program solutions for people with disabilities and be able to handle various crisis situations
• Capable of building relationships with employees, adults and children receiving supports and their families and state/county/regional personnel, among others
• Must be organized, work independently and be able to multi-task.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate in individual and group situations
• Experience implementing systems to monitor program policy & procedures, preparing programmatic budgets and interpreting budget results and monitor contractual compliance
• Provide management and supervision to the Residential Team Leaders in the district/region
• Ability to work flexible hours, position includes some travel

Job summary:
Provide primary case management for SFS clients to include:

3. Facilitate client access to community resources including those used for locating housing and for employment or vocational opportunities or services;

Work schedule and environment:
Work is performed in an office environment, private homes (including clients’ apartments), and at other businesses and offices. A valid driver license or alternate acceptable means of transportation is required.
Work hours are flexible and are subject to program needs. While this position may set work hours to accommodate client needs as determined by the Caseworker, the Caseworker must be available for emergency situations and for occasions when the Executive Director is not available.
This is a part time position, 25 hours per week. Time off must be scheduled and approved by the Executive Director in advance and taking into consideration client and program needs.
This position is Exempt and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
The position requires the ability to:
• Deal with frequent interruptions
• Meet deadlines
• Occasionally stand for prolonged periods
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds
• Climb stairs
• Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, reach, stretch and twist

POSITION PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree and five years related work experience or equivalent. Management experience in food industry preferred. Additional education may be substituted for experience, and educational qualifications may be waived depending on work history.

Manages performances against budget and work plan goals and is accountable for variances.
• Reports to MPFS Leadership and Board monthly progress on key goals.
