Our family is seeking a summer nanny for our children, ages 6 and 8. We are looking for someone who is responsible, kind, and calm, and who has schooling and/or experience working with young and school-age children. The nanny will work with us to plan activities for the children to make it a fun and educational summer. The children will be engaged in some activities, and the nanny will need to transport them to those activities. A driver’s license and good driving record are required. Current first aid and CPR certifications are a plus.

We are looking for someone who is excited about working with kids, interested in developing special projects and theme weeks, and able to safely take the children on trips to the pool, library, and special events.

This is a full-time position, and punctuality, reliability, and professionalism are essential. The position will run from mid-June through August, with some breaks for our family vacations. The wage is $10.00/hour. It is not a “live-in” position.

Minimum of three (3) years applicable experience in physics or related field is required.
Teaching experience in post-secondary education at an accredited institution is preferred.
Superior interpersonal, customer services, presentation and communications skills required.
Creative, innovative and problem solving skills required.
Proven organizational skills and ability to complete assignments timely and accurately with minimal supervision.
Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Internet.
Able to obtain and maintain licenses if applicable as required by state or accrediting commissions.

We are looking for a nanny for two very well adjusted (NO SPECIAL NEEDS), highly intelligent and pleasant little 31 mo old twins. Hours will be roughly 0700 – 5:15 pm Monday – Friday. One weekend per month daytime coverage as well. All national holidays will be paid time off. Requested time off will be without pay, paid time if we arrive early and relieve you early or we take days off and relieve you of the day.

* Would prefer an active person who wishes to take kids to park, walks, backyard play, swimming etc. We are active and physically fit and would prefer someone who sets the same example with our kids.
Nanny provides quality activities of arts crafts, reading, walks, play, etc.
* Nanny provids breakfast, lunch and prepares dinner for kids as we arrive home.
Cleaning only includes what kids mess up or use. No personal clean up or maid service for us.

Kids usually sleep 2-3 hours per afternoon for personal down time, lunches etc.
Pay is negotiable (typically we pay a set amount for set work- extra for any additional hours than those listed). . This is a paid position in an amazing home (brand new and fully modern/updated and high end).
